The Department has an Infrastructure catering to the All India Council for Technial Education(AICTE) requirements,with well qualified staff,well furnished class rooms with OHP and LCD projectors for advanced teaching capabilities,Well established Labs catering to the present curriculum and technology under study.
The department has fully equipped seven Computer labs with appromixately 200 systems.The labs are provided with generator facility inorder to avoid the interruptions because of power failure. The Laboratories are provided with all the Softwares required for the students inorder to fullfill their curricular needs.
As said earlier Association believes in the saying" Strive for the best,but look under for there seems to be someone better than you."
One may interpret this saying like it's of no use trying to be the best since there is always someone who is better than you.But they forget to best since there is always someone who is better than you.But they forget to realize that,that someone also had to strive being the best;and unless one put forward all his/her energies towards gaining one's objectives,it's not easy to achieve them.
Engineering is not merely knowing and being knowledgeable, like a walking encylopedia; engineering is not merely analysis; engineering is not merely the possesion of the capacity to get elegant solutions to nonexistent engineering problems; engineering is practicing the art of the organized forcing of technological change... they operate at the interface between science and society.
The future of the Technology as already mentioned, is not ging to be promising. New graduates may have theoretical knowledge about currents and hidden rocks.but they don't know the river yet. So besides the theoretical concepts that they learn in their classrooms,it is also required that they have a considerable practical experience, before in hand,to rightly face the future of the technology.In order for that, they needto be trained to present themselves as technically ahead of others and infuse in them the kind of professionalism that is required by the technological industries. They need to develop their professional skills-things like presenting themselves, speaking in front of a large group and working within a technology team, etc.
These days, unless you devote an enormous amount of time to anticipating the future,you won't have any future.The main idea behind forming this association is to provide a platform for the individuals to come out with their hidden talents thus shaping their bright future.
The association anticipates an active participation from the students in the activities like Seminars,Group Discussions,Debates,Cultural Events,Quiz Competetions and many more.
The Outgoing students are participating in various competitive exams such as GATE/CAT/GRE/TOEFEL/MAT/Software/BPO.etc.
Our old students have settled in various Multi National Companies like GE,INFOSYS,DELL Computers,NTPC,ISRO,etc.,
Most of our students are doing M.S in various Universities of U.S.A,U.K and Australia.
