DEPARTMENT OF HUMANITIES AND SCIENCES
The Humanities and Sciences Department comprises Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English, Management Studies and Environmental Studies.
The standing and the firmness of a structure is decided by the strength of foundation laid. Similarly the applied and engineering sciences derive strength from basic sciences and their growth is decided by input given by basic sciences.
Our Department is proud to have two doctorates and the other staff members are also involved in research programmes. It also consists of two laboratories, Engineering Physics laboratory and English language laboratory.
The English language laboratory aims at training the students for various competitive exams such as GRE, TOFEL, GMAT etc., and also in group discussion, which is very much helpful during the interviews. Audio - visual aids & special software are being used to improve the communication skills of the students.
Presently, the 'Nano-Technology' has its wide applications. This Nano-Technology enables us to design the simple circuits rather than messedup complicated circuits. These are even made with ease of portability presently in the technical institutions. These are bought into the light and this is taught to the students. From those VLSI Circuits the technology rapidly shortened or simplify to this Nano-Technology.
With collective efforts of all my colleagues, I would dream to make this department a prestigious
one.
