TRAINING & PLACEMENT CELL
Christu Jyoti Institute of Technology & Science, has established the Training and Placement Cell (TPC) for the overall development of the Christu Jyoti Institute students. The TPC strives to arrange better Placement opportunities and career guidance. With the support of the Director, TPC leaves no stone unturned in maintaining a cordial relation and rapport with various educational institutions and the corporate sector. During the years 2005-06,2006-07 & 2007-2008 Christu Jyoti Institute has succeeded in securing more than 170 placements in more than 45 software companies. This is a remarkable achievement and milestone in the history of the institute and it is ranked among the top two Engineering colleges in Warangal district and is well known in South India.
The cell has proved its strength by hitting the highest number of placements in the Warangal (dist), through IEG-JKC programme. We take part in the INFOSYS Campus Connect Programme. A MoU is signed with ORACLE for providing Original Software for the benefit of students and faculty members.
The TPC is blessed with a JKC Star Lab status and training centre with a capacity of 50 Systems & high speed, internet connectivity round the clock. We have hosted INFOSYS on Campus placement drive on 22nd March, 2008 for JKC registered students of Warangal District.
The Training and Placement Cell focuses its attention on the following areas:
• Student career planning
• Job oriented Training and skill improvement
• Arranging practical training for students in the relevant organizations
• Organizing educational and industrial tours for technical exposure
• Model programs on group discussions (G.D's), Mock interviews, personality development.
• Development of soft skills with the help of fully equipped English language lab
• MoU with reputed training institutes, for advanced technical training to fit into jobs
• Industrial relations for more combined placement drives
• Active participation in JKC programme organized by Institute for Electronic Governance (IEG), Govt. of A.P. for securing on campus placements.
• Data based management of student profile and effective communication among the present students and passed out for the exchange of ideas and guidance.
• Organizing seminars periodically on GRE, TOFEL, GATE, Personality development and overseas studies for students.
