Bishop Thumma Bala D.D, Christu Jyoti Institute Of Technology & Science(CJITS),established in the year 1998,is owned and managed by the Warangal Diocesan Society based at Fatimanagar,Warangal.506 004.It is a self financing Catholic Christian Minority Institution a Premier Technical Institute run by Catholic Mission in Andhra Pradesh.The Society is running a degree and P.G College,a College of Education,a Junior College,a few High Schools and several social and Charitable Institutions in Warangal District.

The College was established in 1998 in the temperory location at Karunapuram, Peddapendial.
The Institute moved to its permanent location at Colombonagar, Jangaon in September, 2000.
