The Years to Cherish :
Every institution has its own identity conducive to the acquisition of relevant knowledge and all round mental development. The most important characteristic of CUTS is not that it physically educates the young for professions but the intellectual preparation the students undergo to meet the forthcoming challenges inherent in their aspirations. It spares no efforts to foster the virtues of self-confidence, institutional pride and professional excellence.
CJITS was started in 1998 with the purpose of providing the much-needed professional training in globally competitive and performance oriented field like engineering thereby opening its doors to the deserving youth of today.
Located in a quiet, pollution free area the institute provides an ideal atmosphere for an effective teaching- learning process .The sprawling campus of the college is home to the finest facilities and contemporary institutional infrastructure.
The faculty of CJITS, consisting of an excellent panel of experienced persons, is ever ready to teach, help and guide the students along the road to achievements. Two gold medals and 8 university ranks secured bear witness to it.
The Facilities at CJITS :
The college has extensive laboratory facilities in the campus with all the required state-of-the-art- equipment and facilities to enable students prepare programs properly. The laboratories are hygienically maintained by the support staff, who are equally well trained and committed to students'learning.
CJITS has a dedicated library, a storehouse of a large number of books. Apart from this a number of journals and periodicals are made freely available to the students to cultivate in them a habit of reference reading. The library also provides for computer Based learning through provision of CD ROMs and access to Internet.
Language Support :
All C JITians are expected to have a certain command on the English language in the very First year. To all the first years communication skills lab provides an opportunity to improve and master communication skills. To those who are short at this depending on their deficiency, special spoken English classes are arranged during zero hours free of cost.
Clubs & Associations :
Student clubs and associations form a core part of life of students at CJITS. These activities offer brilliant opportunities to meet other students of similar interest and enable harmonious community living and learning experiences. Inter-Association competitions and events help coming together of the students and enable personality development through honing of leadership and managerial qualities inherent in them. The management and faculty of the college take quite a time off their routine to encourage these activities of the students and the levelling of relationship between the teachers and students achieves the right atmosphere for congenial learning.
Seminars :
Education is made relevant and continually upgraded with current situations by bringing forward to the students through frequent seminars, workshops and study projects. Experts from varies fields are contacted and invited to enrich the student community periodically.
Extra Curricular :
CJITS whole heartedly encourages students to under take and participate in extra curricular activities through a multi-faceted campus events comprising sports, picnics excursions, Industrial tours, competitions, cultural evenings etc. These provide the much needed variety for wholesome personality development.
The college also encourages social service activities like blood donation, reach out programs visits to the orphanages, help to the blind and the needy to bring them in line with the realities.
CJITS promotes sports & games too among students to take part and compete in various sports activities at local, regional and national level. The physical Director provides required coaching and assistance.
Campus Interviews and Placements:
The college makes all efforts in training the students complete , to see them placed in reputed MNCs after their B.Tech. course. The placement Division of the college under the able guidance of Dr. Venu provides practical training for final campus interviews which become the beginning of satisfying and rewarding career.
Infosys Company conducted campus interviews on 22nd March 2008.
Establishment of JKC lab :
Spending nearly Rs.30 lakhs a JKC lab has been established in the college this year and more than 350 students have enrolled their names.
Hostels :
For the benefit of outstation students, CJITS provides boarding facilities at reasonable charges in the college premises for boys and girls separately. Homely food of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian is served as per their preference in these hostels.
